The Titans Take Malaysia!

The Titans Take Malaysia!

The Travelling Classroom’s destination this year was beautiful, colourful Malaysia.

The Southshore Travelling Classroom journeyed to Malaysia this December for a fun-filled adventure! A group of 25 students, accompanied by school staff visited Kuala Lumpur and Malacca, experiencing a variety of sights and sounds. From the beautiful, secluded A’Famosa Resort near old Malacca City to the exciting Sunway Lagoon Water Park, the Titans’ six day sojourn in Malaysia was one that they will always cherish. Their stay at A’Famosa Resort included treats like the Cowboy Town, an animal safari and water park, while in Kuala Lumpur they enjoyed witnessing the city’s cultural heritage sites tucked in between its modern skyscrapers! They visited the famous Petronas Twin Towers as well as the King’s Palace, the National Mosque and the Independence Square. The Titans also had the special opportunity to visit the University of Nottingham’s Malaysia campus, where they were given an introduction into the University and its’ facilities, as well as a guided campus tour. And of course, they shopped till they dropped at the huge Bajaya Time Square mall and The Pavilion mall! This was a trip that will be fondly remembered by all the Titans (and they have loads of souvenirs and selfies to reminisce with!).
