About Southshore

Welcome to the Southshore School for A-Level Studies, a private, co-educational A-Level school in Karachi, Pakistan.

Founded in 2004, Southshore has an established tradition of academic excellence, a distinguished faculty and a well-rounded curriculum that educates young adults to prepare them for their place in the world.

Southshore’s goal is to provide its students with a rigorous academic curriculum supported by a variety of structured learning experiences and co-curricular activities. The Southshore programme is designed to prepare students for success in institutions of higher learning and to instill the drive and ability to make a positive contribution to the society in which they live.

Southshore achieves its goals by offering a wide range of University of Cambridge A-Level courses in the physical sciences, social sciences and humanities as well as Learning Modules, seminars and foreign language electives. In-class learning is supplemented by co-curricular activities, including student-run extracurricular societies, community service, sports and student government.

Southshore recognizes that students today have many choices for their future but also face serious challenges including economic uncertainty, social inequality and environmental degradation. Academic excellence alone will not prepare them for the world they will inherit and Southshore strives to develop its students into accomplished, thinking and contributing members of society.
